The Influence of Kennel or Collie
any people like to trace the influence a particular kennel, or collie has exerted over successive generations, especially when found within their
own Collie’s ancestry, and although I am often approached
for this type of detailed material it is not my policy to
supply this kind of personal data to anyone other than
kennel or collie owner. I do however produce lists of Stud Book qualified, or influential Collies for registered affix holders, and can supply similar information about dominant stud dogs, or brood bitches to their owner and/or breeder, complete with all relevant data.
Where kennels have long been inactive, or owners known to be deceased I do occasionally produce detailed lists of all their collies that are recognised as having influenced the breed in successive generation, any such data advertised as they become available.
I admit to frequently produce similar information for my own use when commissioned to produce kennel histories by a variety of breed publications, in these cases I always present a copy of any such information to the kennel owner, but never to anyone else unless authorised to do so by the affix (kennel name) owner.
