Lindrum line from Gunner of Glenturret. At
the same time the Lochinvar of Ladypark
influence was continued by the Pattingham
father and son Kismet and Pacemaker plus
Ch Liberty of Ladypark who influenced
both the Glenmist and Antoc kennels. By the
middle of the decade Mywicks Meadowlancer’s ascendancy had all but eclipsed earlier influences but his reign proved to be of short duration, and before the end of the decade all eyes were turned towards Dazzler of Dunsinane who, although never gaining show ring success, was to dominate the Rough Collie’s sire line from the birth of his first litter in 1965. Westcarrs Blue Minoru line continued to dominate via father and son Ch Carramar Boy Blue and Blue Tweed while the unshown Corviross Easter Silver, with his strong CROSSTALK influence, was generally acknowledged as improving heads
throughout the colour.
